01/26/2007 06:08 PM Hank McComas - Drinking water and garbage are availalbe at shops and stores nearby, not at the launch site itself. Port a Pots are across the street. At low tide the water will be well away from the unloading parking space. there is a waide expanse of sticky thick mud during low tide. An alternative spot that seems to be used by the local tour outfitters is several block away along first street. Parking is avaialble along the edge of the road. here the beach is of compacted oyster shells. it is strewn with grapefruit sized rocks. the low tide will result in a wide beach but at least here it is solid with no mud.
