Notes:
07/03/2003 09:24 AM Hank McComas - there is a gate with a $2.00 per person entrance fee. the gate opens up automatically when exiting. Ther are a few small cabins that may be rented for overnight. Weekends are difficult to book. There is a large swimming beach with several seawalls built out into the river to retain the sand. . The eastern most beach is traditional reserved for the watercraft launching. The next beach is where the kite boarders launch.
The is also a drive down ramp next to one of the cabins where you can drop your boat right next to the hard ramp or launch from a small pocket of sand. A small amount of parking is available on the side of the road right at the waters edge.
There are several large picnicing pavilions, a childrens sand lot/ play area in addition to the picnic tables rght on the beach.
